Field Station Assistant
Hello everyone! My name is Marissa Dowalter and I'm excited to be working with the Kelleys Island Field Station and Kelleys Island State Park this summer. I am originally from Fredericktown, Ohio and have always loved nature and the outdoors, with a very special place in my heart for reptiles. I graduated from Ohio University in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Wildlife & Conservation Biology and have since worked for Aullwood Audubon, the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, and Stone Laboratory. I love doing outreach education and I look forward to sharing my passion for nature and science with all of you this summer, in addition to helping keep the State Park in pristine condition! I'm looking forward to meeting all of you, feel free to say hi if you see me around
